STUDENTS of all ages at the Haberdashers’ family of schools in Monmouth have put on a string of entertaining performances and events as the autumn term nears its end.

Young pupils at Monmouth Schools Pre-Prep and Nursery drew laughter, tears and cheers from the audience when they performed their Christmas nativity, An Angel’s Wish, at the Blake Theatre on December 6.

That same evening, the glow of candles illuminated St Mary’s Priory Church for Monmouth School Girls’ Prep’s traditional Christingle Service, where pupils impressed with choral performances and recitals.

The previous night, a team of sixth-form students from the girls’ and boys’ schools had battled it out against staff in a fundraising general knowledge quiz.
