STRIKE A Chord choir will be holding a St David’s Day concert in Cwmbran on Monday, March 9.
The choir is made up of stroke survivors who use music as a method of recovering their physical and mental health.
The concert is the choir’s first performance of the year, and will feature popular hits such as It’s Not Unusual and Green, Green Grass of Home, traditional Welsh songs including Sospan Fach, and original songs, including Our Song, where the choir tell the story of recovering from a stroke.

The concert is being held at Coed Eva and Hollybush Community Centre, and starts at 7pm, with doors opening at 6.30pm.
Tickets cost £6 and are available on the door.
There will also be a raffle to help raise funds to keep the choir running.
