TWO neighbours in Abertillery woke up richer last week after winning £1,000 each with the People's Postcode Lottery.
The Vivian Street residents were quids in when their lucky postcode, NP13 2LE, was announced as a daily prize winner last Thursday.
A minimum of 32 per cent of People’s Postcode Lottery ticket sales goes directly to charities, and players have raised more than £500 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.

Last Thursday's draw was promoted by the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association, which has received more than £2.2 million in funding from the players of People’s Postcode Lottery.
The charity is known for its guide dogs but also offers a range of services which help thousands of people with sight loss lead confident, independent and fulfilling lives.
Local charities can next apply for funding in August.
