The Gibraltar Hill tunnels in Monmouth will be closed this weekend for planned maintenance.
The tunnels, on the A40, will close in both directions at midday on Saturday (May 16).
They will remain closed until 6pm on Tuesday (May 19).
Traffic Wales said a contraflow system would be in place for road users during that time.

Wide loads (wider than three metres and length no more than 16.5 metres) will be asked to use the M5 and M4 to enter and exit South East Wales.
There will be signs put up in advance on the M4, A465 (Heads of the Valleys Road), A40, and A449 to advise motorists of the roadworks in the tunnels.
Traffic Wales said it would contact Highways England with advice, if possible, to set signs on the M5 southbound to warn wide/abnormal loads heading into South East Wales.
