Deer causes lane closure on A449 - police at the scene
A DEER has caused a lane of the A449 to shut.
UPDATE 8.18am: The lane has now reopened.
Police have closed the second lane of the southbound carriageway between Usk and Abernant.
Traffic officers are also on site as they recover a deer.
A spokesman for Traffic Wales said: "Lane two closure in place to assist with the recovery of a deer.
"Police and traffic officers at the incident."
