A new estate agency set up just months ago is already expanding with the opening of a new branch in Bridge Street in Newport.

Specialising solely in residential sales, M2 is a new brand, whose sales staff have extensive local knowledge and many years’ experience.

Owner, Mark Roberts, who set up Roberts Estate Agents in Newport 15 years ago, already has M2 branches in Usk and Abergavenny at the core of a completely new and separate enterprise.

The opening of M2’s 'paperless branch' in Bridge Street, Newport is the next phase in his plans.

Mr Roberts said: “The Newport office is a break from the traditional.

“Rather than adopting the showroom and brochure approach, there will be more focus on technology, coupled with individual attention from knowledgeable staff. We will cover a wide radius from Newport, selling houses in a Risca, Caerleon and Cwmbran, using our sales know-how and familiarity with the local area.

“However, in every other way, the new branch will provide what our customers are already coming to expect from the brand - a friendly face, an understanding approach and excellent customer service.”

Dan Maguire, manager at the new branch, said: “We are aiming for the paperless approach and the personal touch. Houses for sale will be displayed on TV monitors in the windows 24/7 and also in the branch. We’ll encourage people to come in and have a cup of coffee with us and look through the properties on-line. Of course, we will print off any details they want to take away.”

Dan will be joined by Jean Davies, who has more than 20 years’ experience in sales and lettings in the local area.

The new branch will also offer mortgage advice under the same roof, as M2 have teamed up with Andrew Rowe of Mortgage Advice Bureau. Andrew has worked in the financial services industry for 25 years and has the facility of searching more than 90 lenders.

M2, launched in August 2018, specialises in residential sales across the market, promoting higher end properties (£500,000-plus) under the Town and Country banner.
