Qualified scuba diver Belinda Bishop is celebrating being appointed partner with haart in Cwmbran.

Belinda, 51, has worked in sales all her life and discovered estate agency while living in Spain.

She’s now been named as one of haart’s new partner agents. The scheme has been introduced in response to the coronavirus outbreak with a new way of working which sees agents based at home backed up by local offices and infrastructure including a national call centre and state of the art social media technology.

Belinda, who has worked for the company for more than 10 years, said: "“For me it’s all about providing a quality personal service.

“Working from home but with support I can be as flexible as my clients and my family need me to be. The day a client moves into their dream home is the best bit for me; their excitement is what it’s all about.”

Belinda, who’s a grandmother and dog lover, took up scuba diving 15 years ago.

Haart managing director Antony Lark said: “Belinda has been chosen as one of our first partners in a new scheme which will see us growing our network of estate agents across the UK.

“Unlike other organisations that employ people on a self-employed basis with all its inherent risks, our partners are fully employed by haart, with all the benefits and security this brings.

“Plus, by replacing some of our branches with people working from home, giving them a better work-life balance and more flexibility around their working day, we are able to reinvest the money we save on office costs by providing better marketing and technology to support our customers. It really is a win-win all round.”
