Chepstow Boxing Club starts full training on Sunday August 26 at 10.30am, then every Tuesday and Thursday at the Drill Hall, Lower Church Street, Chepstow. Boys aged 9 years to 16 years at 6.30pm and boys aged 17 years to 30 years at 7.30pm.
Last season's success saw two schoolboy internationals in Jamie Morley and Scot Webber, with Welsh champion Kieran Woods. Also Jack Kenkins was extremely unlucky not to receive a favourable decision in the Welsh finals.
Hopes are high for next season when new boxers will be in action for the first time. Chepstow Club have their first tournament on November 10 at St Pierre Golf and Country Club, with an invited team from Sweden taking part.
