SOME of the biggest names in Glamorgan's recent past will be on display at the Newport Cricket Club 6-a-side-day on Friday (1pm start).
Matthew Maynard, Graham Wagg, Mark Wallace, and Dean Cosker are among the county's greats taking part, with Newport County manager Mike Flynn also putting the pads on for the BBC Wales media team.
Eight teams in total are playing, made of local businesses and including last year's champions AECom.
The event promises to be a great day, with a raffle and fundraising helping to support Newport Junior cricket.
Newport chairman Mike Knight said: "So many people have helped to support the event, it will be a tremendous day.
"It will be great to see so many Glamorgan greats rubbing shoulders with local businesses and cricket enthusiasts, all showing their support for the club."
A good crowd is anticipated throughout the day with a licensed bar and refreshments available throughout the day.
