WALES manager Jayne Ludlow has named a 20-player squad for next week's friendly against the Czech Republic in Newport.

The match at Rodney Parade next Thursday (kick-off 7pm) has already broken records with more than 1,000 tickets sold, making it the most attended friendly match the Wales women’s team have ever had.

It could also be a historic week for Loren Dykes. The defender currently has 99 caps for her country and will become Wales’ second centurion after team mate Jess Fishlock if she takes part in the match.

Ludlow has recalled FAW Young Player of the Year Elise Hughes and Tottenham Hotspur defender Anna Filbey to the squad.

Both players missed the double header match against the Republic of Ireland in Marbella through injury.

Tickets for the match are still available and can be purchased at www.faw.cymru/tickets.
