COED Duon Dragons have secured a spot in the Welsh Women's League after just two years thanks to back-to-back promotions.
The Blackwood team was formed in the summer of 2017 and has enjoyed remarkable success.
Captain Ashleigh Kincaid said: "Promotion wouldn't have been possible without the accumulation of strong, dedicated coaches, team effort and individual commitment.
"It's fantastic to see the girls who put in so much effort receive recognition for their hard work. We're very proud of our efforts and we are looking forward to the season ahead."
The women are coached by Michael Jenkins and Kieran Park, with the former saying: "The most rewarding thing for me is seeing players who have worked tirelessly both on and off the field achieve their goals.
"For a relatively new team with minimal resources, promotion means so much more. It's evident that hard work, a good support network and maximising talent can overcome size and power!"
Coed Duon Dragons thank the businesses that supported the team throughout the season:
Green & Co Accountants and Tax Advisors, Jelf, Verde Corporate Finance and Johnson & Phillips.
They would also like to thank Lawrence Miller & Co, who sponsored all their home games for the season.
