CALDICOT Town LFC began their season with a goal feast, winning 10-0 at Penybont, writes Bob Cypher.
Manager Lewis Yendle-Davies was delighted with his team’s performance.
“It was a brilliant all-round performance, from defence to attack, and it’s so important to start the season with a win,” he said.
Ashleigh Harris grabbed a hat-trick with Georgia Malpas (2), Charlotte Galloway (2), Kelly Cutler (2) and Abby Rose netting the others.
Meanwhile, in the South Wales Women and Girls League Division 1, Severn Tunnel LFC lost 4-2 at home to Cwmbran Celtic, Beth Gammon and Laura Bradley scoring for Tunnel.
