WALES will play an international friendly against Austria on March 27 next year as part of their preparations for Euro 2020.

The Friday night match will help Ryan Giggs' men as they prepare to face Switzerland, Turkey and Italy in Group A in June.

Wales last faced Austria in Cardiff during the 2018 World Cup qualifying campaign, when Ben Woodburn’s solo strike proved crucial in a 1-0 victory.

With Austria also heading to the Euro 2020 finals next summer, both teams will want to start the year on a positive note.

The location, kick-off time and ticket details have yet to be confirmed by the Football Association of Wales.
