WALES Schoolboys Under-18 team - led by Newport's Joseph Baston - defeated England 1-0 in their last match in the Roma Caput Mundi tournament in Italy today.
The result ensured Wales finished ahead of England in their group: in third place behind Italy and Moldova.
Baston was vice-captain in the 2-1 defeat to Moldova earlier in the week in only his second representative game, and came on as a substitute in the latter stages of the 3-2 defeat to the host nation.
On Twitter, a delighted Baston said: "Over the moon to beat England on our last day and happy to captain my country as well."
