FORMER Dragons star Taulupe Faletau is among ten Wales players to be selected for the British and Irish Lions tour to South Africa - but Josh Navidi and Jonathan Davies have missed out.
Warren Gatland got permission to increase his selection from 36 to 37 for the series against the Springboks.
As expected, Dragons legend Taulupe Faletau, now playing for Bath, will get the chance to complete the set after facing Australia and New Zealand.
The Pontypool-raised number eight is joined in the squad by Test teammates Alun Wyn Jones, who is captain, Josh Adams, Dan Biggar, Gareth Davies, Louis Rees-Zammit, Liam Williams, Wyn Jones, Ken Owens and Justin Tipuric.
There is no place in the squad for centre Davies while Navidi, like Dragons forward Ross Moriarty, is a victim of the strength in the back row.
