LIONS stars Alun Wyn Jones and Justin Tipuric will start for the Ospreys against the Dragons in the Rainbow Cup.

The duo head to Rodney Parade to keep sharp ahead of the summer tour to face world champions South Africa.

Warren Gatland will be hoping for no drama in Newport with the Wales stars providing experience in a side that, like the Dragons’, has a smattering of youth.

Former Dragons Dan Evans and Sam Parry are selected at full-back and hooker respectively while ex-Newport speedster Luke Morgan is on the wing.

The Ospreys won in Newport in the PRO14 before the Dragons turned the tables in Bridgend.

Ospreys coach Duncan Jones is expecting a tight contest: "Over the last few weeks, the Dragons have produced some good performances.

"They are building nicely and we understand we will have to be good in all areas to compete with them.

"Hopefully, we can push on and keep building to where we want to go. It's important we keep developing and driving on, with players taking ownership and us as coaches doing the same, and that we continue on the journey we are on.

"We are building week on week and we understand where we are in our journey as a team. For us, it's all about getting the mindset of being better and to keep driving each other."
