WHITCOMBE BRIAN Passed away peacefully, on 9th November 2015, Within the tender care of Nevill Hall Hospital, Brian of High Street, Blaenavon (Former Mayor of Blaenavon, Town Councillor and County Borough Councillor) Cherished and beloved husband of Pauline, much loved and adored Dad of Cerys. Treasured grampy of Amy and Ellie, well respected and loving uncle of Eirlys, John and families. He will forever be in the hearts of all his family and all who knew and loved him. ‘Love Never End’ (1Corinthians 15:8). Resting within the care of Heritage Funeral Service, Blaenavon until the funeral which will be held on Monday 23rd November 2015. A service of thanksgiving for Brian’s life will take place at Horeb Baptist Church, Blaenavon at 11:30am. Cremation will then follow at The Gwent Crematorium, Croesyceiliog at 1pm. The family have expressed the wish for ‘bright-coloured’ clothing to be worn at Brian’s funeral. Family flowers only please but donations, will be gratefully received, for The British Heart Foundation, St. David’s Hospice Care and Gilwern Ward at Nevill Hall Hospital and may be given or sent to the funeral director.
