ROBERTS Marian Janet M.B.E Peacefully passed away at Nevill Hall Hopsital on 5th November 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Marian of Aneurin Avenue Swyffryd, aged 85. Wife of the late Kenneth, loved Mam of Martyn and Sian, mother in law of Michael and Thierry, Nan of Matthew and Rhiannon and great grandsons. Will be sadly missed by all family and friends. The family would like to give their special thanks to Lesley and Steve Rickard, John the Dad, and John the Son Harry for all their care and kindness shown. The service will take place on Thursday 15th November 2018 at 12.30 at The Salvation Army Hall Hill Street Abertillery NP13 1AL, followed by Committal at The Gwent Crematorium at 2.30pm. Family flowers only donations, if desired to the Salvation Army (Kitchen Fund) to be given at the service. The family would appreciate something red to be worn at the service (maybe a poppy) but this is not mandatory. For all enquiries contact The Abertillery Co-operative Funeralcare on 01495 212541.

We were very sad to here of the death of Auntie Marian, our hearts go out to Martyn and Sian and the whole family. Marian was always admired and greatly loved by the late Ken Betteridge, her nephew and his family. In years gone by wonderful times were spent at her home in Aneurin Avenue, and on occasions Marian visited Cheltenham.
These memories we will always cherish. Rest in peace Marian, I know that you will keep everyone entertained as you meet them on your journey. Love Dot and Ken Betteridge.
