FORMER front-man of the punk band Tenpole Tudor, Ed Tudor-Pole will take to the stage of Pontypool’s Hog and Hosper this month.
Tudor-Pole formed Tenpole Tudor in 1974, and came to prominence after appearing in the film The Great Rock ‘n’ Roll Swindle as a possible replacement for Johnny Rotten in the Sex Pistols.
Tenpole Tudor returned in 1980, signing to Stiff Records and releasing two successful albums as well as securing a UK Top 10 hit Swords of a Thousand Men.
After parting ways with his band, Ed became a solo performer, and continues to tour across the UK.
Providing support will be Olivia Perry, a 16-year-old singer songwriter from Newport.
Ed Tudor-Pole and Olivia Perry will be at the Hog and Hosper, Pontypool on Saturday, October, 27.
Tickets are £5 from wegottic kets.com/event/179368
