HUNDREDS of fundraisers will be hitting Cwmbran dressed as Santa to raise funds for St David’s Hospice Care.

Tomorrow at Cwmbran Boating Lake from 10am join St David’s Hospice Care for a morning of fun and laughter as you scoot, run or ride dressed as Santa.

A scooter run starts at 10am and is free for all ages.

The event consists of as many laps as you can manage around the lake.

There is no minimum age but the charity asks for all children under 11 to be accompanied by an adult and helmets must be worn.

The popular Santa Run will begin at 10.30am.

Participants are asked to donate a minimum of £5.

Newfor this year is a Santa bike ride, which will start at 11am. The ride will be a three times one mile lap (5km) or you may decide how many laps you would like to do.

Part of the course will be across grass and will not be suitable for road bikes.

To enter the bike ride, the charity again requests a £5 minimum suggested donation for all ages. The minimum age for this event is 11 and helmets must be worn but can be decorated.

Entry costs on the day double to £10 for both the Santa Run and Bike Ride.
