TINY tots from both St John's-on-the-Hill Day Nurs-eries celebrated the arrival of spring in style with a traditional Easter bonnet parade at Chepstow Race-course on Thursday.
Children aged between 12 weeks and four years, from both the Racecourse and Tutshill Day Nurseries, displayed their colourful head decorations and bonnets with a parade around the winners' enclosure of the racecourse.
Accompanied by nursery staff, parents and families, the celebrations concluded with hot-cross buns and refreshments for all. Julie Dyson, St John's-on-the-Racecourse Nursery manager said: "The efforts of both parents and children have produced some spectacular designs.
"We were delighted to welcome our friends from the Tutshill Nursery and everyone agreed that all the children looked wonderful."
