FORMER Monmouth schoolgirl, singer songwriter Marina Diamandis has been chosen as the face of cosmetic giant Max Factor.
The 25-year-old, who launched her career last year with Marina and The Diamonds, and has had hits with Hollywood and I Am Not a Robot, will be the face of the Max Factor Effects campaign for its nail polish, eye shadow and lip gloss this year.
Miss Diamandis, a former Haberdashers' Monmouth School for Girls pupil, who still has connections with Abergavenny, shared the news with 60,000 Twitter followers, saying: "This morning I became the new face of Max Factor."
