Magor Primary School is celebrating have just become the first school in Monmouthshire to be awarded 'Phase Five' of the National Healthy Schools Award. The scheme aims to promote health and well-being amongst children.
Headmaster Gareth Atwell said: "I am very pleased that school has achieved the prestigious award. It is a reflection of the school's success in placing the wellbeing of the school at the heart of its teaching and learning agenda. I am very grateful to Laura Welsh, who has overseen the award process, and all the staff, governors and children who have worked so hard to achieve the award."
