IT firm Happus has partnered with not-for-profit campaign Do IT Digital to offer free technical support and advice for small businesses across the UK.

This comes after Caerphilly-based Happus was named as one of Small Business Saturday’s 100, culminating in the firm joining representatives of the UK’s 5.4 million small businesses at an event at the Treasury with George Osbourne in December.

The team behind Small Business Saturday has launched Do IT Digital in an effort to promote digital engagement and help businesses make the most of the digital world.

Managing director of Happus David Williams said: “As one of the Smallbiz 100 for 2015 we were inspired to continue the ethos of collaboration and support and it’s for that reason we are working with Do it Digital; to give small businesses free technical support and advice. "We can help with anything, be it hardware issues, advice regarding choice or availability of internet, or even where to get the skills needed to make the most of being online.

“Running a small business is challenging enough without the headache of poor equipment or slow broadband. Business owners need a no-fuss answer to troubleshoot problems, and it’s with that in mind we set up the free technical support help-line. If any business could use some technical help or advice, we would encourage them to give us a call or drop us an e-mail. Fast internet access is a right, not a privilege, and that’s why we will help anyone who gets in contact with us.”
