A FATHER and son have pleaded not guilty to conspiring to steal a pug dog in Abergavenny last year.
Thomas Stokes, aged 47, of Chesterfield Road, Mansfield, pleaded not guilty to conspiracy to steal and assault occasioning actual bodily harm at Newport Crown Court today.
His son, Martin Stokes, aged 23, also of Chesterfield Road, Mansfield, pleaded not guilty to conspiracy to steal and perverting the course of justice followng the incident on October 26, 2015.
Judge Daniel Williams adjourned the case for a trial at the same court on August 9.
The Stokes' were granted conditional bail and cannot enter Wales unless it’s for an appointment with their barrister or for a court appearance.
