PUPILS at a school near Chepstow, St John’s on-the-Hill, showcased a fun-filled production of Robin and The Sherwood Hoodies last Thursday.
The production at St John’s on-the-Hill School told the story of how Robin Hood and his merry men escaped the clutches of the evil King John and his sheriff.
Lucy Marshall, head of performing arts at St John’s on-the-Hill School, said: “Our 49-strong cast of year five and six children worked incredibly hard to learn their lines and performed with great enthusiasm to a full-house on Thursday evening. "The action-packed production was full of cheesy jokes and innuendos that had the audience in fits of laughter.
She added: "They particularly appreciated the catchy songs and dance moves performed by Robin and his merry men.”
