FORMER club captain Jamie Jeune makes a surprise return to the Pontypool squad.
The former Hooker and utility front row man controversially left Pontypool Park for Newport only a couple of games into last season.
But with Pontypool short of front row options Jeune is back for today's home game with Bridgend Athletic on permit from Rodney Parade.
Pooler have been hampered in the front row after Summer signing James Greenfield made the same move as Jeune this Summer only weeks after signing.
Last week's starter Matthew Prosser I out injured as is Sam Cook after damaging his ankle ligaments in pre-season against Pontypool United.
