CWMBRAN failed to build on the previous Saturday’s fine win against table leaders Cilfynydd with a poor loss away to strugglers Hafodyrynys.
The Crows never got out of first gear with the lineout proving to be the worst phase of play, closely followed by the scrum, though last minute changes didn’t help the cause.
Two penalty goals by Mike Davies briefly gave Cwmbran the lead in the second half but they lacked vision.
