WALES wing Hallam Amos has overcome illness to return to the Dragons XV for Sunday’s clash with Ulster after caretaker boss Ceri Jones wielded the axe.

The speedster has been released from Six Nations duty along with tighthead Leon Brown, who is on the bench and set for a first appearance since suffering a broken thumb in December.

Amos, who came off the bench for his 19th cap in Italy, missed Wales training on Thursday because of illness but is back to feature on the left wing as one of nine changes to the side that was humiliated 57-7 by Benetton last weekend.

Scrum-half Rhodri Williams is the sole survivor in the backs from Treviso with full-back Jordan Williams back from a shoulder injury, Daf Howells  getting the nod down the right flank, Jarryd Sage and Adam Warren partnered in midfield and Josh Lewis starting at fly-half.

Up front, Lewis Evans is out because of a calf strain meaning a recall for Joe Davies despite a disappointing showing off the bench against Benetton.

Injuries to Ollie Griffiths and James Benjamin mean that Huw Taylor and Taine Basham join Harri Keddie in the back row.

Lock/flanker Max Williams is back from concussion to be among the replacements and Lennon Greggains is also set for his first senior outing of the season after being released by Wales Under-20s.

Ulster make three changes to the side that hammered Zebre.
Scrum-half John Cooney has been released by Ireland, Billy Burns returns as his half-back partner and Sean Reidy comes in at blindside flanker.
