Welsh League Division Two
Croesyceilliog 0
Chepstow Town 3
CHEPSTOW Town warmed up for this Saturday’s derby clash at Undy Athletic with this fine victory against their old rivals.
Town welcomed back striker Mark Dunn after suspension and they created a number of chances before Craig Lewis put them in front, heading in Mattie Davies’ headed flick.
The visitors dominated the rest of the half but wasted many chances until Jack Harvey doubled their lead.
Croesyceilliog began the second half strongly and took the game to Chepstow but the visitors’ defence stood firm and gradually they took control and began creating – but wasting – a number of chances before Dunn made it 3-0.
Chepstow continued to make – and squander – chances that would have given them a more convincing winning margin.
