CALDICOT Town LFC’s Development squad put last week’s heavy defeat at the hands of Cardiff Met LFC behind them with an encouraging victory, writes Bob Cypher.
Manager Gareth Crispin was pleased at the commitment and determination shown by his players.
“It was a big improvement from last weekend and a well-deserved victory,” he said.
“Everyone showed great desire and determination right from the first whistle and it was great to win our first three points,”
There were hat-tricks for Chloe Leonard and Mikaela Roberts with Carys Soper scoring the other goal.
The match was the first of three consecutive away games for Town’s development squad who will visit Coed Duon Dragons next Sunday.
