A MAN from Chepstow appeared in court alongside a Sedbury woman who dealt in the illegal 'high' drug Mephedrone, known as MCat.

Susan Suguklesme, 37, of Saxon Place, Sedbury, pleaded guilty at Gloucester crown court to possessing the Class B drug with intent to supply on June 30, last year.

Also in the dock was Aaron Haile, 33, of Broadstone Terrace, Chepstow, who admitted being concerned in the supply of the drug between June 3 to July 30 2014.

Judge Jamie Tabor QC bailed them both for pre-sentence reports to be prepared. They will be sentenced on February 16.

The court was told that almost 27g of the drug, valued at between £280-£560 was found when police searched the Sedbury address.

John Twomlow, for Suguklesme said "She is a habitual user of the drug. She was using this method to obtain mephedrone for her own use.

"But the last time she used was on this occasion. Since then she and Mr Haile have been working on it."

Bailing the pair Judge Tabor said: "Susan Suguklesme you are in a lot of trouble. It is very much in your interests to see the probation service and talk matters through with them at some length so we can know why you got into this state and whether you have really stopped taking.

"Aaron Haile you are in quite a bit of trouble as well. Supplying this type of drug is a very serious offence."
