THE younger brother for the former Pontypool MP and first Torfaen MP is among 216 contemporary figures added to the new edition of the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography.
Dannie Abse, a Welsh author, playwright and poet, joins a raft of men and women, all of whom died in 2014, in the biography of notable figures.
His brother, Leo, sat as the Pontypool MP from 1958 to 1983 and as the Torfaen MP from 1983 to 1987, when he retired from parliament.
Both brothers died, albeit six years apart, aged 91.
