The 69-year-old from Abergavenny bought the impressive model that was produced in Britain between 1922 and the outbreak of the Second World War in 1939.
Also attracting much attention was Nick Davis’ Pontiac Trans Am which used to belong to the California Highway Patrol.
The 57-year-old from Cwmbran has even visited their academy in Sacramento where they fitted him out with a genuine patrolman’s uniform.
There was an eye-catching reconstruction of the town’s Merthyr, Tredegar and Abergavenny Railway system put together by 77-year-old Richard Cox.
