GALE force winds are set to batter Salisbury this weekend as the Met Office confirms Storm Ciara is heading this way.
On both Saturday and Sunday winds are predicted - in the worst case - to reach as high as 60mph.
Nearby, 80mph gusts are expected to hit exposed coastal areas.
The warning read: "Heavy rain will be an additional hazard, especially over western hills.
"Winds of this strength across a wide area have the potential to produce disruption to transport, along with some coastal impacts, especially in the west."
