CHILDREN in Torfaen will be able to get creative to express their thanks to key workers during the coronavirus outbreak with the help of five new posters.

Torfaen Council has created five posters which can be downloaded and coloured in to share your thanks for the people working through this pandemic.

Cllr Anthony Hunt, leader of Torfaen County Borough Council, said: “The best way to thank key workers, partners and volunteers who are hard at work is by staying home to stop the spread of coronavirus.

“So we thought that creating posters for our young or just young at heart residents to colour in and display would be a nice way for our key workers to actually see how much they mean to us all in Torfaen.

“Our workers, public sector partners, businesses and the local third sector partners and volunteers have gone above and beyond the call of duty during this pandemic, so it’s good to show our appreciation.

“As we go into the next few weeks of lockdown, all we can do is ask people to remember why we are staying home. We know it’s tough, but together we can save lives by stopping the spread of Coronavirus.”

You can download the posters on the Torfaen council website.
