AN EIGHT-YEAR-OLD boy from Pontypool is gearing up for a special haircut next month to help out the Little Princess Trust.

Logan Ivany decided to grow his hair and then get it cut off to raise money and awareness of the charity.

His mum, Holly Ivany, said: "Logan has grown his hair about 12 inches during the lockdowns. He doesn't like the idea of children going through so much with illness and not feeling like themselves due to losing their hair.

"He is hoping to raise about £550 with the challenge as that would cover the whole wig making and fitting process."

Logan's big haircut will take place on December 16 and he is currently raising money towards his target.

Logan lives with his mum, stepdad Gethin, and his sister Matilda.
