A man has been charged with attempted murder following an alleged firearms incident on Teesside and a further incident in County Durham.

Jack Walker is set to appear at Teesside Magistrates’ Court today (Wednesday, April 24) police have revealed.

Detectives have charged the 30-year-old man from Northampton with four counts of attempted murder, two counts of possession of a firearm with intent, and possession of a prohibited weapon.

Walker, whose last known address Carey Road, Hackleton in Northampton, has been remanded into custody and will appear in the Middlesbrough court.
