Newport City Council and Jobcentre Plus are holding the city’s annual jobs fair on Thursday, September 12 at the Newport Centre.
A number of companies have already signed up for the popular event but firms and training providers still have time to book a space.
Previously, the fairs have attracted thousands of people looking for new jobs or opportunities to boost their skills and qualifications.
Cllr Gail Giles, Newport City Council’s cabinet member for education and skills, said: “The jobs fair is an important date in the calendar of city events as it brings together a wide range of employers with keen jobseekers who have so much to offer.
“I would urge firms in Newport who are looking for new employees to get in touch with our team and make sure they are part of this highly successful annual occasion.”
Watch out for more information about the jobs fair over the coming weeks.
