A YOUNG Chepstow BC boxer chalked up his third success from his first three bouts when he boxed at a show in Hereford last Friday.
Terry Mullane, 10-year-old brother of Wales international Pat Mullane, won his bout on a split decision, a victory which delighted the club’s head coach Steve Woods.
“Terry took on a lad from the Second City ABC in Birmingham and I am now planning to keep him busy in order to build up his experience ahead of next year’s Welsh Championships,” he said.
“Unfortunately, Ethan Gwillim’s bout was called off and Joseph Dunster developed a cold so he couldn’t box.
“Joseph and Kayd Dean are matched to box on a show in Aberdare on November 15th.
“We are also looking to put on our own show some time in January.”
