WELL, it had to be football this week.
It wasn't to be for Wales in Euro 2020, crashing out to Denmark in the round of 16.
However, slightly more than 60 years ago, fortunes were better for one of Monmouthshire's local teams.
In 1938 it was Monmouth Town Football Club’s turn to take the trophies.
Here are the proud team with their cups.
